The problem is that nobody know how the votes are weighted. It would be easy for them to help movies they want. There is no clarity.

It uses the same automatic system for every movie, there is no person manually erasing the votes they don't want, if this movie has a 7.7 then it hold the same value as the 7.7 of IT for example, in the case of rottentomatoes however, there is no such system so the score is way less reliable since it could be tons of trolls there.
