All opinion based. Where H5 failed it succeeded in others like the MP. There heart is still in it don't worry about that.

Wasn't the multiplayer also lacking? they where missing a few modes if I remember correctly. And they also receive heavy criticism. After the missing modes got added then people where saying it was acceptable if I remember correctly. 

A lot of fans claim Halo 5 has the best Multiplayer, it had a few modes missing however the MP was far from bad. Its up there with the best of them.

This all comes down to opinions in the end however the critics enjoyed Halo 5's MP and so does majority. You will find bad eggs that don't like it however I can say that about any game you list. I can find someone who doesn't like it or hates the direction. You cant pleased everyone. Halo 5 pleased the MP audience which Halo 4 lacked, and where Halo 4 gained in campaign, Halo 5 lacked. Maybe Halo 6 will fuss the two together and offer both amazing aspects ;)

So no, Halo 5 even lacking content was an amazing MP game and with the added modes, its even better.
