Honestly, the best soundtrack for me for a very long time will be Battlefield 1. Zajdi Zajdi is just so emotionally gratifying, gives me goosebumps and ALMOST makes me feel like crying for no apparent reason, ALMOST.
This year though, Nier Automata's soundtrack is the best, no contest. This cannot continue and Songs of the Ancient are a masterpiece.
