Time will tell, even the Wii and Wii U had moments where support was looking good before the rug was pulled out from underneath.

I basically addressed Wii and Wii U differences compared to Switch. Wii was technically and buy power gap hole generations behind, so porting PS3/Xbox360 was not simple, Switch is technically on pair with PS4/Xbox360 and power gap is less than power gap between Wii and PS3/Xbox360. Talking about Wii U, Wii U basically start losing 3rd party support moment start selling terrible shortly after launch, with Switch situation is completely opposite, Switch is getting more and more 3rd party support how Switch sales, popularity, and instal base are rising.

I was gonna bring up the GameCube, but someone else was quick to.

Switch is unlikely to enjoy as many comtemporary multiplat titles as that, at least not from the big developers.

What is likely to happen is that all small-to-medium sized indie games will want to be on Switch, and that could quickly be more games than the GameCube ever had.

Why do you think that? Switch can easily have more multiply titles from big developers than GC had from reasons that I mentione, and like we seeing, how time is passing much stonger support will be from big developers.
