| Grey Acumen said: lol, yushire, sorry, but that first video was pathetic. Lovely article, but you're talking about the difference between subconsciously recognizing the different between 2 framerates. You still have yet to show that having one particular framerate actually changes the playability of a game, provided it remains consistent. i watched the video, and I could tell a slight difference, but saying that it's detrimental to gameplay is absurd. How about you try this. Take people and find different games and run them at completely different FPS, don't tell anyone what the actual FPS is and make them try to guess it. Don't let them know if their answers are right or wrong. Then see how they do. On top of that, have games that run at a consistent 30FPS (not just 24) and have those compared to a game that runs between 50FPS and 75FPS or even 60FPS to 120FPS, and see if people can tell which one runs smoother. |
If its in the PC in other people's standpoint, I cant tell but in my opinion I can tell which game is running 60 fps and which is running in 30 fps. But in TV, I cant really tell, monitor was different than in TV. Though I can tell the slowdowns anyway. Anyway the FPS that I really play came from the PC, no interests in FPS in consoles even now. I want to buy Red Steel but the reviews makes me away from it. Come to think of it, I think I dont want to be bother anymore after The Conduit officially announced as 30 fps I lost interest anymore. Im not into single player campaign anyway, Im more into fast multiplayer gameplay like Counter Strike, Doom and Quake so I dont wanna post here anymore I made up my mind.
P.S. Im into fast gameplay FPS so my preferences was different from others here, shouldnt expect for a console in my FPS needs.
