We all know how horrible things have been this generation for the version of a game (and its hardware selling prospects) that gets the bad end of a timed-exclusive deal. 

 Well, the PS3 hit the market one year later than the 360, so I would say no longer than a year. But they could do a decent port in 6 months probably.

Not sure what your second sentence means, but there have been good and bad ports (Oblivion - good, Lost Planet - bad).
