Short term the X was always going to sell. The test is January onwards. I expect the Xbox to be outsold by the PS4 comfortably. If it can hit similar sales to the PS4 we can deem the X a success. It will be interesting to see. Right now it's selling as most people expected. 

Well I believe most people were expecting it to taper off immediately after launch. So it is interesting to see that there is still healthy demand for it.  Most Christmas shoppers would aim for the cheaper One S for the kids etc.So perhaps with a good deal of word of mouth the One X has garnered a bit of a following.
