@BKK: Are you sure the 25k for M&S was only for the Wii version and not for the Wii and DS version combined?

I'm not 100% sure, as Sega didn't specify, but according to the ELSPA chart for April published in Famitsu M&S Wii sold 91k, averaging 22.75k/week and M&S DS sold 42k, averaging 10.5k/week. Combined they averaged 33.25k, so I'm inclined to think it was for the Wii version, rather than combined.

When I applied it to the chart it gave GTA IV 40k, which was inline with the 37k I had GTA IV on for this week, so I think M&S Wii must have been pretty close to 25k regardless of if it averages that most weeks or not.

I would also have doubts about M&S selling 25k per week as it went up 66% last week. So even if it averages at 25k weekly it sales surely aren't very steady.
But I also calculated M&S sales based on GTAIV data (percentage drops from last 2 weeks and given sales from 2 and 3 weeks ago) and it put M&S for Wii within 20-25k range. So close with BKK number.

The reason it went up 66% the prior week was due to it being half term (a school holiday), so it's an exception rather than the rule. I had GTA IV at 74k that week, applying the 57/43 split Chart-Track last gave for the LTD through the first four weeks would put the half term week's chart at:

01 GRAND THEFT AUTO IV XB360 (38,000)
02 WII PLAY WII
03 MARIO & SONIC AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES WII
04 GRAND THEFT AUTO IV PS3 (29,000)

So M&S somewhere between 29k and 38k, which works out at 17k - 23k the week prior. The 57/43 GTA split that week is just a guess from previous LTD, so it could have been more in favour of 360 than that. I think the 25k/week average for M&S seems to fit fairly well, but holidays need to be taken into account.

For those interested here's my GTA IV tracking. From the fifth week totals across both formats should be reliable, but splits are just based on the 57/43 week 4 LTD split supplied by chart-track, so could be off a bit. I'm just applying it so I can have a rough idea of LTD for each format.
