How long before Nin releases a completely new, non Switch related product?

Yep. I'm pretty sure The Fragile was supposed to release way sooner than it did. Like two years after The Downward Spiral. But Trent was battling with suicidal depression and writer's block. I think he ended up scrapping a lot of songs and making new ones. I think that's what i remember reading anyways.
