Of course it's relevant. I used a mild 'insult' and you criticized my choice of words. If you prefer not to use anything that sounds offensive (as in the opposite of defensive, not rude) and disrespectful, then I'll respect that. People make their own rules and I'll follow what they ask for. While I should've put more thought into it, I still clarified my statement which wasn't meant to target anyone.

I'm not discussing this as the moderator. That's why that angle of your reply isn't relevant. I would have just acted if that were the case. Instead, you got sound advice. Don't call people names and/or throw out such words if you really want things to improve in your topic (or any topic, for that matter). You don't have target anyone specifically for it to be a needless statement. Accusing people of being fanboys (or fanboyism) is just in poor taste.

It's not always about "breaking rules" and moderating everyone and this certainly isn't a huge deal. Just consider what I'm saying.

You have a fair point. Never disagreed with it, and I myself commonly say i dislike it when I use insults like that.

I never ignored your words - heck, I typically live by it as well. This thread is bound to die soon, but in future threads i'll avoid this mistake
