While I wouldn't go that far, I too was disappointed by XCX. Mira was an amazing world to explore, but the lacked most of what made me love Xenoblade 1, most notably a strong plot and an awesome OST.
Granted I'm only in chapter 2 but so far the framerate seems par for the course for a game of "today's standards." Heck, I can think of a lot of games of considerably bigger budget that run worse. |
Only a year you were praising XCX to deaht and calling it one of your favourites (if not your favourite) Wiiu game, what's this sudden change of opinion?
Personally I think it was flawed, but it has so much virtues that the overall experience was quite epic and totally worth it.
