It is not surprising nor impressive to sell better than two very poorly performing consoles or to be more profitable than a console that created huge losses.

 

By definition PS4 is not doing amazing in Japan. Can we end this now?

It actually is surprising. Nobody gavecps4 a chance of bearing ps3 in Japan after it's slow start. People were saying 5 or 6 million max. The fact it's beating ps3 is a great surprise and that's amazing.
