You have used developer support, XBO/Wii U sales & now profits to try and make it seem like PS4 is doing great in Japan. Its not, its doing mediocre at best, just admit it and move on.

My official stance on the matter. 

 

Ps4 sales are amazing when you consider all other traditional home consoles bombed and that ps4 is makingvsomy a big profit. 

 

Ps4 sales are decent when compared to ps3 sales last gen. 

 

So depending on the criteria my answer is either amazing or decent. Don't take these facts out of context.

But like i already said doing better than devices that did terrible does not make it amazing. That is a terrible way of looking at things. A convict serving 5 years isnt doing amazing just because hes not serving a life sentance or on death row.

By the way, we have no idea how profitable PS4 is in Japan itself, we know PS4 overall is very profitable due to selling a shit load of hardware, software, accessories & subscriptions globally but to my knowledge they do not break down profit per region.

By no metric is PS4 doing amazing in Japan, its just not and nothing will change that. Okay, mediocre, average, decent, good.....those are all acceptable ways to describe PS4 performance in Japan.
