Your statement here makes it sound like 35 million people want the Switch (DS owners), thus only 175k available each week means that people will be scrambling for a long time to get one.

I didn’t say 35M wanted it though. I’m showing how his analogy was silly. The odds of winning the lottery is 1 over millions (you gotta use hyperbole when you have nothing to say, right?) The odds of getting a Switch are much much higher even if we assume that 35M people wanted the Switch right now. Odds are a couple of hundreds of thousands of people wanted to buy a Switch this week.
