Look, Im not going to start it, nor will I feed this, what will end up being, a flamming argumentation.

But in any case, outside of the whole point of the Switch being a hybrid, I dont think that any company wants to give a competitor a whole country. The same way that Nintendo wishes to sell better on Europe, as well as the PS4 sells there, Im certain that Sony would rather that the PS4 sold better in Japan.Saying that a company is ceding the market to another and vice versa is nonsense.

Its kind of ironic that you told him his post would derail the thread when you are the only person to respond to and argue with that post.

Also he said literally nothing about Nintendo/Sony ceding Europe/Japan so i have no idea why you are using tha against him.

Probably because everyone is tired to hear people saying that Nintendo is only winning because the Switch is a handheld, or Nintendo is losing because it is a home console and Sony dominates that market and all that nonsense.I know I am.For me his post seemed like an excuse for why Nintendop is doing so well in Japan and Sony is not.Might not have been his intention, but thats what it felt like.

Amd for your last post, here is his quote

"The Nintendo handheld dominates Japan once again. Ceding the home console market to Sony while having a handheld that has the option of video output to a TV was the right decision. "

Are you sure that he said nothing about ceding Japan

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
