Remember when people took Zelda battery time as the standar for the console? I keep telling them most games would have a better battery life than that one, they didn't believed me, well, here is the proof.

I'd say it would be better waiting to see how everything unfolds the more time it passes. I'd say none of the games above I am Setsuna are that much demanding, which explains how the Switch is able to substain its battery much better. But then you have more recent games being released that fall short of Breath of the Wild's battery life (Mario Odyssey and Skyrim, with Doom being slightly marginally better than Breath of the Wild) and there's the probable hypothesis that demanding games will have a similar or shorter battery life than Zelda.

Whether one wants the Switch for games like Zelda and Mario, or Crimsonland and King Oddball would depend on the consumer, for sure, but I'd say the current trend and sales indicate that the former are more desirable, which are the ones falling short with the battery life. Games like Splatoon 2 are closer to Zelda's battery life than, let's say, Stardew Valley.
