Close!? There are good chances (depending from stocks) that Switch will pass Wii U LT numbers at end of this year.

Switch is currently at 2.25m while Wii U LT numbers in Japan are 3.3m, and we have 6 more weeks for sales.

Thought Wii U was a bit higher than that. yeah, it will most probably blow right past this year unless stock constrains don't allow for it.
