With Switch, its a good deal less powerful than PS4/XBO so it absolutely makes sense that games would be downgraded and for many people portability is a large added benefit that makes up for those shortcomings.

The Wii U was an awkward system with many problems, so I can see why that device didn't take off. I did like the system myself though.

I enjoyed it too, not really the system itself so much but it had some great games on it.

Switch is just on a whole new level though, it took Wii U like 3 years to get a library as good as Switch has in just 9 months.
