if by the next yearly update it's shown to be with a rank higher than the XB1X, then it means that PS4 sku alone has outsold the XB1X (at least on Amazon) and the XB1x even on the monthly chart is MS best selling sku.

I have no doubt the PS4 slim will sell better than the Xbox One X in November but the Xbox One S will also sell better than the X and added together I can see it do better than the PS4 (Slim + Pro)

Otherwise PS4 has a stock problem at Best Buy too, only available in December for shipping.

The stock problem at Best Buy only refers to the online store. The B&M stores still have PS4s in stock.

You also have to take into account that GameStop still makes the plurality of the market share and will offer a $199 PS4 with a $50 gift card. This is the second best BF deal in terms of value to Kohl's $199 PS4 with $60 Kohl's cash.
