I think if x does 500k that would be crazy. I'm thinking around 400. But I get the feeling it won't be enough. if s does 800k, x does 500 and 1.3 million combined I still think PS4 has a good shot to win. I also think 1.3 is the limit that Xbox could do. I'm think it will do more like 1-1.15 million total S did 1 million last year with better and more diverse bundles. They where riding gears 4 and fh3 launch. And they had at least evenly matched BF deals with Sony unlike this year. And we have to assume that the x will eat into the s's sales at least a little. Taking all that into consideration I see the S doing 650-775k. X is harder to guess. But I'm going with 350-450k for that. |
Don't forget the Xbox One S was at $249 bundle + 1 free game for the first 3 weeks during the release of COD. That + the good launch of the Xbox One X should allow them to have a comfortable lead before Black Friday week. On the other hand it will be interesting to see the sales of the Xbox One X in the coming months, it's out of top 100 on amazon UK, Italy, France and Germany. US market is clearly the best for the X.
