Well, no shit. The fuck do tou think games are? They're bound to make flaws once they expand like any other company (cough Nintendo cough). However, it shouldn't be unreasonable to assume they'll avoid things such as lootboxes.
The Witcher series was insanely successful, with the third entry and DLC probably making up a large chunk of the total trilogy's sales. Whatever they make next will probably continue that
