Mario X Rabbids is developed internally by Ubisoft, and also published by Ubisoft. By all defenitions it's a third party game, It using the the Mario ip doesn't change the fact. Skyrim is a huge juggernaut of a game. The game is carrying PSVR sales at the moment. The special edition also did multiple millions in sales. And with the switch where there is "less choice" of games, people will eat it up.

in the UK it bombed bad on switch. yes mario rabbids is a third-party game but, it using mario, so it's not something you can compare to a regular third party games.
