Not forgetting them but the past 2 month shows that shortages weren’t as big as it seemed. You probably had to preorder the Switch to get one but it was not a case of it being impossible to get.

September went to the Switch with a lead of what, 20k? All the backorders were filled in the last week. You’d think that a system facing big shortages would have huge sales numbers as it finally came on the market but not really.

As for October, let me ask you - why did you predict such a high number? Over 170k lead on the PS4 as it were?

You do know that the switch had no business winning September? PS4 had two juggernaut releases, destiny 2 and NBA 2k18. Madden also released right at the end of august, aligning it for a big September. While the Switch only had a pokken port. Switch pulled off an upset in September, if anything.

It only outsold ps4 by 10k, and its a system that still had pent up  demand due to stock issues, those games you mentioned didn't offer a real boost, ps4 2015 september 340k, while 2014 was 540k, and 2016 xbox did 332k, while ps4 280k.
