Yes, that's for sure. But this kind of game would never be an exclusive, it prints money. Agreed. The problem was they developed GT6 for ps3 only when it should have been remastered on ps4 aswell.
I really don't think the problem is having a spin-off like GT Sport. The problem that got people mad is that they wanted GT7 already. Sport shows us that they are probably 1 to 2 years far from GT7. Two things would have been better: A) As you said, develop GT6 as a launch title with a downgraded PS3 version. Sport would be a pit-stop between GT7 and everyone would be super happy. B) Scrap GT6 altogether. Probably GT Sport would be out for 2 years already and GT7 would be launching. Everyone is happy again. Anyway, I will have a formed opinion on GT Sport in a few weeks when I get the game. I really hope that I will love it and eat some crow. I really do. I love the franchise, I would be completely happy if I was 100% wrong in my GT Sport criticism. |
