Yep. Switch version was delayed physically, so figures may be skewed.

It's certainly interesting to see the sales however. If what you're saying is true, then 2k should have sold enough to potentially leave the Switch as a viable option for future sports games. Was a bit surprised to see Fifa wasn't a success on the Switch, but that may be due to other issues. Never would have expected 2k to outsell Fifa honestly. EA really fucked up

It's just really odd to me that pretty much every Switch third party game tracks badly but then turns out to have good sales. Xenoverse 2 sold 400k copies in a month and two weeks and if we looked at physical sales on VGC we'd be getting doom threads. A similar thing is most likely true for Fate/Extella(which also sold terribly on other platforms), where it looks doom and gloom until Marvelous continues to support the Switch and the Switch version is tracking close to the others.

I really wish we had digital sales.

""In addition to versions for X-Box, PlayStation, and PC, NBA 2K18 is our debut offering for the Nintendo Switch. So far, we're very pleased with the title's performance on this new platform and we anticipate continued strong demand across all platforms heading into the holiday season." - Take 2

"We expect sales to continue to be great, we’re very optimistic around the platform, we’re very supportive of Nintendo. So the only thing that’s changed in the last six months is our initial belief, has been reinforced by the early very strong results."

-Take 2

Unfortunately that may be due to VGChartz's style being inaccurate and outdated. Nothing against them (as I do respect the effort put in), but the companies declaring successes for these games probably have better methods to track sales compared to a video game website.

Some people may assume they're lying, but I'm honestly believing sales are genuinely decent for Take 2 and others. The only company who hasn't said anything is EA, but they're shit anyway and don't even acknowledge Fifa 18's existence on the Switch.

I'm not entirely sure how VGChartz gets its sales, but I wonder if we'll forever be unable to examine digital sales. In today's day of age, it seems to make a significant impact overlooked on here
