And I don't get whats with people that are for prices remaining higher as if they are getting a cut of whatever nintendo makes. If sony invests $50M into making a game and projects to sell 2M copies at $60/game making $120M.... and they hit that target... how is it then somehow a bad thing if they drop the price to $30 so the can sell another 2M copies?

And are we forgetting that we are talking about a new IP up against an IP that has been around before i even started playing games?

Are we also forgetting taht this is something sony can afford to do due to the amount of money they make from all the third party games on their platform? I am lost.

Perhaps you should read the whole comments chain. Pretty sure it was written originally, explicitly to get a response but regardless, i merely explained the actuality of the case in point.
