True, the NS’s library is limited in comparison to the PS4 and Xbox One, but those systems have been in the market for 4 years.

The Switch is not even one year in and it already has:

3 Mario games (Odyssey, MK8D, Rabbids), 2 Sonic games (Mania and Forces), Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Pokken DX, Minecraft, Skyrim, Doom, NBA 2K18, FIFA 18, ARMS, Fire Emblem Warriors, a whole plathora of indies, and in a few weeks, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, As far as first year lineups go, the Switch has one of the greatest if not THE greatest first year out of all the video game systems in history.

And of course, we’re still expecting Metroid, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Pokemon...

The Switch is going to see a lot of games released and a lot games come and go.

I’m saying Zelda is one that is going to still be around and among the best sellers for a long time.

There are games you buy for your system, and then there are games you a buy a system for. Breath of the Wild is one of these games for the Switch. Just like Super Mario World was for the SNES, Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time were for the N64, Crash Bandicoot and Final Fantasy VII were for the PS1, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was for the PS2, Halo 1 was for the Xbox, Super Smash Bros. Melee was for thr Gamecube, Pokemon Red and Blue were for the Game Boy.

Breath of the Wild is that type of game for the Switch.
