1st place in Netherlands in one day? Very impressive.
It's not impressive at all!
Let's do a little prediction for UK to see how far MGS4 sales will be from other games. GTAIV on PS3 sold 411,000 in first week in UK. MGS4 isn't as big as GTAIV and will have only 3 days in its first week (GTAIV had 5) but still should sell in 200k - 300k range.
Last week best selling game (on indiviudal UK chart) sold around 30k. Becouse there isn't any other big game released this week it means that MGS4 sales may be 10 times higher than runner-up game sales. I used UK for prediction but should be similar for other countries.
So even with only one day in Netherlands MGS4 probably crushed cometition by a large margin. Maybe not 10:1 but 5:1 isn't out of question.
