Erm, no...

My third party games:

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (best version of the game because of portability and it received the Specter of Torment campaign first)

Steamworld Dig 2 (best version because of portability and it released first on the Switch)

Stardew Valley (best version because of portability and it will receive the multiplayer update before the other consoles)

Sonic Mania (best version because of portability)

Skyrim (not the best version by a long-shot, but still nice to play on the go. PC version is the King because of all the mods.).

I paid € 20 for Shovel Knight, Steamworld Dig 2 and Sonic Mania, which is the same price as on other consoles. For Stardew Valley I only paid € 14.

Most of the reasons you posted were for portability which I said the same thing as well o.O.

As for pricing...

Shovel Knight was $9.99 on Steam and if you bought it before the DLCs came out, the DLCs were free.

Steam World Dig  2 I'll wait when its part of a humble bundle - thats how I got the first game.

Sonic Mania was $15 just a few days ago for Steam and considering its a Sonic game, that price is gonna tank down to single digit price tag within next few months.

Stardew Valley you can get it for $9 on Steam and it was part of a humble bundle that costed $30 for 40 games few months back: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2017/02/13/humble-freedom-bundle/

Of course this is for PC, dont remember the deals for the PS4 versions.

I bought them all on launch day and they all had the same price across platforms... Shovel Knight also had a discount on Switch for Halloween...

Why would I want to pay $30 for those games? Most of them are terrible.

A lot of games that are purchased on Steam are never touched again... that says a lot about PC gamers.
