I think it depends what kind of surge you are looking for. If you expected monthly Switch sales to triple or quadruple in September, then double again in October, well sure, you might be disappointed. In fact, sales increased by 50% from the middle of the year months into September. That was a massive increase in my estimation.
The big question is why October did not do better than September. I think the answer is that there were only 4 weekends, but it's just a guess on my part.
