Everything you wrote don't go against what I wrote and my point.

Again, point is simple, if launch was in holiday season and not in Q1 Nintendo would from start made plans to have bigger stocks for holiday season launch compared to march launch (where they actually initially prepared 2m for launch that led to huge stock problems) because they know March and April months are much slower months in any case compared to best performing months in year like November and December.

and again if what you say is true, we couldn't ps3, ps2, 360, and wii which launched during the holidays not make enough supply, explain? you don't seem to understand many holiday launches are rushed, and history proves that. switch had way more stock during none holidays then those consoles, probably cause nintedo didn't wanna rush a holiday launch in 2016.

Again you missing point, point is that if any of those consoles had launch during March instead of Holiday season would have even less launch stocks because they are launching during slow months compared best performing months in whole year. So in Switch case, regardless how many units Switch sold on launch in March if launch was actually during holiday season, Nintendo would had initial plan from start to prepare more units for launch. When you preparing launch during Q1 and during holiday season, your plans want be same and you want prepare same amount of stock, because one launch has slow months and other has best performing months in hole year.
