No we can consider them of course, but Vgchartz numbers are definitely not most accurate in any case, especially compared to NPD and MC numbers.

I know, I was just poking fun.

It is what it is though, right? Our analysis of transactions doesn't change the amount of transactions taking place. If the discussion is only going to pertain to that of an absolute standing then we would only be able to equate quarterly results. Anything less (NPD, VGChartz, MC) would be further from the absolute. NPD is not as accurate as quarterly financial statements as there are margins of error for NPD as well as other tracking firms (as appears five times in this sentence, six if you include the one I just typed). There is varying results of accuracy among the data trackers meaning some are more reliable than others but they all share common ground in the fact they are nothing but indicators.

Although European numbers aren't tracked as well as US or JP that does not take away from the fact that WW numbers have been more prominently in PS4's favor than in Switch's favor. And isn't this what the whole discussion is about; using indicators to guess who will end up as the biggest seller?
