Despite Switch CPU is weaker, you do realise that "Jaguar" CPU thats in PS4 and XB1 is also mobile procesor!? "Jaguar" Accelerated Processing Units are ultra-low power chips aimed at tablets, netbooks and ultra-thin notebooks."

No I am not overestimating, that extra power for GPU in docked mode is enuf that evre game runs at higher resolution in docked mode, and thats why evre game runs at higher resolution in docked mode, some games running from 720p in portable mode to 1080p in docked mode, or in case of Splatoon 2 in portable mode runs from 650p to 720p while in docked mode runs from 865p to 1080p, even Mario Oddysey goes from 720p in portable mode to 810p-900p in docked mode with better graphics.

Again, if they make Rocket League port again that has same resolution in portable and docked mode (and it seems it will be 720p in both modes), than my teorie is correct.

I’m not sure what point you are trying to make with the Jaguar CPU. The Xbox One and PS4 are both significantly more powerful than the Switch. That’s not even a question. Even if the CPUs in those systems were initially designed for portable devices, the CPUs in the actual console are significantly better  than what the Switch is packing, and in terms of GPUs, the systems are the equivalent of a mid-range PC, something the Switch doesn’t even approach.

Also, going from 720p in portable mode to 900p in tv mode isn’t necessarily indicative of their being a significant difference. I mean, the system’s screen resolution tops out at 720p, so there isn’t a reason to go for a higher resolution in portable mode even if they wanted to. As for Doom...well, docked mode DOES display a higher resolution, and I certainly can’t think of a better example of a PS4/Xbone port on the Switch.

If Rocket League does sport similarly resolution to Doom, we may simply be seeing the limits of how well the Switch can handle games originally designed for MUCH more powerful consoles. For these kinds of games, the extra boost provided by the dock may simply not be enough for a meaningful performance increase. Games built from the ground up for specific console are usually better able to take advantage of a console’s power than ports.

Point is simple, you wrote "Panic Button is porting current gen games that have no business running on a mobile processor to the Switch", but despite fact that Switch CPU is weaker than Jaguar in PS4/XB1, Jaguar CPU in PS4/XB1 is also mobile processor, and actualy its bottleneck for both consoles.

You have examples of Splatoon 2 where in portable mode game runs at 650p-720p (so game is more enuf demanding that goes below 720p), but in docked mode is going to 865p-1080p, and yes, going from 650p-720p to 865p-1080p is significant difference.

If Rocket League have same resolution in portable and docked mode, than my teori is true, if game runs at 720p in portable and docked mode, than they priorite is portable mode with ports and they dont care about docked mode too much. Again, extra GPU power in docked mode is enuf that ever game could run at higher resolution in docked mode compared to portable mode if that power difrence is used in proper way, and that why every game until now did exactly that. Doom and Rocket League are multiplatform games (including PC), they are not exclusives that are built just for one type of hardware, especially because Rocket League was built in Unreal Engine 3 engine that works on almost evre devaice..
