Star Fox Zero is infamous but most of its flaws can be easily fixed. The game had plenty of good ideas, and I think judging it on the things it does right, it was a very good reboot for Star Fox. It would make a lot of sense to release a port of it on Switch in preparation of an actually good (and ambitious) sequel.

I don't think the game can really be salvaged from a popularity standpoint ... a new Star Fox without a port would be better.
