I don't think he was stating it as a fuck, just stating it kind of arrogantly for the purposes of riling up a too content fanbase 
But then I can agree with you. I'm sorry, I could not tell if you meant the former or latter by reading your comment. It always confuses me when people pass of Metacritic as a fact. I think it's a great game, but I guess I can understand how others don't.
