Assuming they're talking worldwide sales you'd have to take in to account different game prices in different countries, as well as exchange rates.

Then there's the collectors edition versions sold as well. I know COD collectors editions can be pretty pricey!

Edit: Of course they could have also sold a lot of loot boxes in the first 3 days as well to add to that revenue.

This, except for the loot box part because there aren't any paid loot boxes at the moment, those are coming next week.
