I don't know. Somebody should be able to help you but, as the owner of multiple Xbones, I can tell you: All you have to do is log in and all of your saves, web history, passwords, etc automatically follow. Only a few specific settings, preferences, and wallpapers are left behind. 

I figured it out. The reason I needed to was because I did not have my secondary email or phone number correct.  So to bypass the secondary email verification I had my profile backed up on my external. Otherwise they would have asked me for it. And ms makes u wait 30 days to change security info(found that out last week).
