I would say 10. I haven't seen a year like this for ANY game console. And the year isn't even over yet! It has only been 8 months! We have Zelda Breath of the Wild (GOTY Material) Mario Odyssey (GOTY Material), ARMS, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokken Tournament, Fire Emblem Warriors, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Snipper Clips, 1-2 Switch, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Sonic Forces, Super Bomberman R, Doom, Skyrim, L.A. Noire, Rocket League, (among many other 3rd party ports and multiplats) and even when you take away the ports (not bolded) it's still very impressive for 8 months on the market.

Assuming that Nintendo has more titles up its sleeve for January through March 3rd, which we can expect maybe Kirby Star Allies, and Yoshi, this will be one hell of a year for the big N. I'm genuinely excited for what they have to show in 2018 because I know they're just getting started. There have been too many companies/subsidiaries at Nintendo that have gone silent and they must be working on new titles. Also considering that the Handheld and Console divisions have combined, we can theoretically expect 2x the software output on the device which will get it up to par with PS and Xbox who don't really attend to other devices like Nintendo has in the past. If 2017 is anything to go by, 2018 should be a banger.
