That kind of violence wasn't senseless. it was to set up a scene and characters and it's a part of world-building in the world they live in, much like Walking Dead, some people just suck esp when there is no society which has proven to be true in reality when major disasters strike. Many people were raped in the Superdome during Katrina. People loot. Some people helped others and some hurt others. TLOU trailer was showing one side to set up world you as a player have to survive in. I will say once more I didn't like TLOU, in fact, don't like Naughty Dog much at all so I am not standing up for a game I like but what the trailer was selling and the hypocrisy of people being selective what they are offended by. |
