Release a sub-par last gen version of a game (FIFA18) where ads were non-existant and where sales are poor = "not committed to Switch, we don't understand the market".
Of course...you release a game that doesn't compare well to current other consoles of this gen so you certainly can't expect it to sell very well with the PS4 and XB1 getting the better game...
I think EA and Nintendo just don't get along well. Just watch that if the Switch continues to do amazing in sales, EA will start making more games for Switch and say something like "We now understand the market" only to release lesser versions compared to other consoles.
There are very few games I actually have any interest in from EA. Which is Mirror's Edge franchise , and NCAA Football (when it was still around). I don't care at all about any of their shooters and not much a fan of the NFL (Madden). So not much lost with losing them.
