Totally agree with this.  This is MS way to try and reboot the image of tthe Xbox brand at least for hardware and it seems from the reviews I have ready they did a solid.  Now if they are able to match in the games department, then we would see more of a competitive gen but I do not expect to see it this gen.

It’s too late now - people don’t care about power at this stage. They just want games and that’s where the narrative that the X1 has no exclusives is now a common thing.

Noticed I said not this gen.  People always care about power but right now its not a deciding point anymore.  You have to build back up your brand at some point and coming out with hits instead of misses help along tht route.  If anything MS is looking to claw back some of their fans back to the system.  As for exclusive, I remember the PS3 had this moniker for awhile until Sony changed that story.  Nothing is set in stone in this business.
