Not even close to a failure. Assuming there are 2 million PS4s in shelves, then the PS4 has sold through 65.5 million by the end of September. Compared to the XB1, VGC has it selling around 3.1m by the week of Sept 16. I think it has sold less than that amount based on EA and IHS's estimates, and US/WW ratios. I have it selling between 2.15m - 2.54m up to the end of September. For the sake of argument, let's pretend VGC has it right. The Pro has sold 78% of the XB1's YTD sales so far this year.

I'm not neccessarily talking about sales. The console fails to push the needls forward in anyway. It really has no point to exist in my eyes.
