Well there is thing like unofficial price cut, where you have official MSRP but in reality price is lower on almost hole market, Nintendo dont gave deals and discounts like others because they would mean less profit for them, and they mostly only have official price cuts without great deals and discounts like others, similar goes for SW, you'll rearly see big discount for Nintendo games compared to other games on market.

Yes we know that Nintendo loves higher margins than other companies, but for some reason they are liked for having high margins and others are hated.
