I do realize, yet you are shifing goals (beside the fact that I couldn't care less about the size of the HDD, bought a 4Tb HD just for it).

The HD increase is pennies cost for Sony and several times the substitution was even covered by the older one being not common anymore and costing more to manufacture.

Yet as people pointed out Sony MSRP for PS4 500Gb is still 299 USD without any game. So it is effective only 25% price cut in 4 years.

Yet I asked you to show which PS had less pricecuts in 4 years and you failed to provide any, so accept it that PS4 is still to peak (could be this or next year who knows) with very little pricecut so far.

Yep, because PS3 was record sale in Japan. Accept that the console market is shrinking in Japan as is the HH WW.

I don't shifting anything, I talking about clear facts, on one side you have base 500GB model for $400 and other 1TB PS4 model with game for $300 and you only see that's only difference in price, also you ignoring that you have regualy bundles for less than $300.

HD costs don't have anything with talk we have here.

As I alredy pointed, fact is that PS4 official price for base 500GB model is PS4, but fact is also that you regularly have PS4 for much less money or that you can strong bundle (1TB with one game) for same that official price of base 500GB model.

I dont see any reson to provide that, my point is simple, regardles fact that MSRP is $300 for base 500GB in reality you can regulary buy 1TB bundle with one game for that price, or find bundle with game for less. We will see if this year is peak or not (probably will next or this one in any case). I bouth mine PS4 Slim 500GB for $250 last year.

PS3 was worst selling Sony console WW not just in Japan, shrinked market is not same thing like dead market.

So the price of the HD have nothing to do with the increase in size and not in price? So a 4Gb HD for several hundreds in the 90's is a pricecut for the 1Tb costing under a hundred? Nope that is the natural evolution.

You can pretend all you like, the premise that the PS4 had the least pricecut and is yet to peak is still there.
