I prefer one color for each option. I see orange I know instantly what it means.

Now if I see orange or green I then have to look at the icon.

It doesn't need to be that complicated.

But you have to look at the icon to see the colour in the first place. I think you'd be able to adjust. Of course, I think most people could adjust to the current system, too.
