I'm pretty much with you. When I got a Wii, I sold my GameCube. When I got a Wii U, I gave away my Wii. Etc. Currently, my game room where 90% of my gaming takes place has a WiiU, PS3, PS4, X360, XBOS, and Switch. That's mostly all I'll ever need.

To be honest, I'd probably be happy with just one XBO but Microsoft's cloud storage setup is pretty great. I can turn off a game in one room, go into another and pick up exactly where I left off (more or less) since I buy everything digitally. Same goes for web browser, and most apps. A quick two second sync and it's game on!

Yeah, convenience is of course a factor... sometimes I have more than one system for a game library, but they are exeptions, not the normal case.

I have two Vitas because I got the second one very cheap and I don't have to hassle with changing memory cards since then (booting down the device, change cards, booting up, reconstruction of the database with the risk of damaging the data). Also double the battery life, one of them is always charged.

I also have a Windows tablet which is great for point & click adventure and especially visual novels. Of course I could play these on my desktop PC, but the tablet adds mobility and I can play them anywhere.
