This is interesting. All those people on the internet saying they want good linear single player experiences with no microtransactions have to buy this soon to prove their money is where there mouth is. If this game fails gamers should not complain about the direction the industry is going in the future. Looking at Amazon sales, its well behind AC Origins, a much hated franchise on the internet.

If it succeeds, more publishers will make these kind of games. Its upto you guys now, though I think the same people asking for these games will also bitch about its 11 hour campaign being too short as a reason for waiting for a sale and then complain why publishers don't make these games anymore.

I am worried about this game because a sequels have done poorly this year. I am hoping this does well because I prefer the single player experience. i do need to play and beat the first one before getting this though. :/

Those multiplayer games don't need a proof of success, neither do open world games, plenty of games in both genres that have done well in recent times. I can only think of a handful of games that are linear and single player doing well this generation. That is why Wolfenstein 2 needs to be successful, moreso than the other sequels.

I don't think you should feel bad about not getting this when you haven't played The New Order. Not that one sale will make a huge difference, I don't even think the entire VGC community will. But from comments on Youtube it looks like those people encouraging these kinds of games are now turning their backs because Assassin's Creed is 70 hours long and Wolfenstein 2 is 11 hours long...sigh.
