Hear, hear. We're just encouraging critics to inflate scores by losing our shit every time a game gets less than an 8/10.

Yep, I'm fearing what would happen now with that 75/100 score from Odyssey. Though, tbh, the review is actually pretty bad in this case imho XD. I mean, you read it and it seems like it's almost trollish. That wasn't the case with the 70/100 review from Jim Sterling in BOTW, which actually make some points which I think were fair.
