Sony are selling a glorified prologue as a mainline title they are doing it because they think this tactic will maximise revenue.  I would have been surprised if the user score was high.  

 

I bought the game knowing full well what it is and got what I expected and wanted.  I look forward to the inevitable GT7 in a few years.

In the bigger picture it's huge. .9 is the difference between a 90 and a 81, a 81 and a 72, a 72 anda 63 ...

I guess the moral of the story is to charge an appropriate amount of money for products, or just offer more features

The moral of the story is Sony are getting a boat load of cash for releasing a beefed up prologue while the main game is developed.
