This is what I've been saying since it was announced.  I just hope when they finally release GT7 that they also port it to ps5.

"Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be available for $39.99 on Blu-ray Disc (BD) and as a download via the PLAYSTATION Store." (https://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/01/29/gran-turismo-5-prologue-priced-and-dated/ )

"Gran Tursmo Sport launches today on PlayStation 4 and its MSRP is a very affordable $59.99." (https://www.polygon.com/2017/10/17/16487998/gran-turismo-sport-collectors-edition-real-car-stunt-taiwan )

Hence why I've always said it's a beefed up prologue.  They added more content then a prologue on ps4 would of had so they can charge full price.

I can almost guarantee you the funds they bring in from sport (probably over $150m) will go towards the development of GT7.

They are smart going with sport instead of prologue og.

Likely to sell more that way at a better price.
